Chapters 23-26 Summary

In Chapter 23, After the discovery of the zoo, Nayir visits Nouf's escort again to question him. He learns that Nouf used to secretly take the Jet Ski to a private beach and from there ride in a men's robe to the zoo. The zoo was her secret hideaway. From there she would send Muhammad on errands, like shopping, so that she could show her mother what she had been doing for the day.

On the day that Nouf disappeared, Muhammad showed up late and Nouf was already gone. Since he didn't want to get himself or her in trouble, he didn't say anything to the family because they thought that she was exchanging shows at the mall.
