Chapter 6 Summary

Katya Hijazi wakes early in the morning to get to work to secretly run blood, dirt and skin samples. Katya is secretly working for the Shrawi family, specifically Othman, her fiancée, to find out what has happened to Nouf.

Since Katya is a woman, she is not allowed to driver or go anywhere by herself, so her father's friend, Ahmad, is her escort. He drives her around and escorts her on outings to protect her honor. When Katya arrives at work it is just after 6:00 in the morning. Shortly after, her supervisor, the boss's sister, comes in and demands that Katya work on specific files. Katya manages to sneak in her work on Nouf's case.
