Abuse

Abuse is the strongest theme contained in “Finding Me” which is the story of Michelle Knight who was abducted by a demented man and held captive for an unbelievable eleven years. Before Michelle’s abduction, she had suffered various forms of abuse during her entire life. Her parents didn’t seem to care if she got an education or not and apparently gave little thought to what she needed physically and emotionally.

A virtual parade of relatives moved in and out of the family house for Michelle’s entire life. At least one of these relatives, a man who she did not identify, sexually abused her for years.
