Summary

In Chapter 8, Swiv and Elvira went to Scarborough for Elvira's haircut. Mooshie rode the bus with them part of the way and embarrassed Swiv by yelling at some men who would not give up their seats. At the home hair salon in Scarborough, Elvira chatted excitedly with her hairdresser about her trip to Fresno. At home that night, Mooshie told Elvira that Willit Braun called and she threatened to sue him for harassment. Jay Gatsby came over and Mooshie told him they were not going to sell their house to him. Swiv set her alarm so she could put Elvira's compression socks on before they left for the airport, because she was the only one who knew how to do this.
