Summary
In pages 197 - 264, Sam begins locking herself in her room. When Lillian calls her out, she tells her that her name is not Sam, but Jane. She makes Lillian promise never to take pictures of her again. Lillian promises. When Jane opens the door, she has cut off all her hair. Jane stops eating and breaks out in rashes. She feels grateful, however, for her new identity.
