Candy Shop

The candy shop Mizuki's father used to own and operate, symbolizes the past. When Mizuki takes Kiyoshi to Kagurazaka and shows him the candy shop, she is inviting him to the scenes and sensations of her former life. In this way, she is also sharing with him a part of her true self.

Nezu Cemetery

The cemetery in Nezu where Mizuki and Kiyoshi meet on several occasions, symbolizes transitions and endings. The first time they visit the cemetery, the trip marks a deepening closeness between them, thus transitioning them into the next phase of their relationship.
