Chapters 15-28 Summary
In Chapter 15, the apartment Curt's mother lives in is very small. Curt helps himself to some medication, and he points out that it's all right because it's prescription. He tells Troy that they have a gig in five weeks. Troy is terrified.
In Chapter 16, Troy realizes that he has to tell Curt that he is not really a drummer. They talk about music and what groups they like best. Together, they listen to music. Troy finds out that Curt grew up listening to the Beatles, and his mother taught him to really enjoy music.
In Chapter 17, they listen to music all afternoon. Curt grabs his guitar and begins to play. Troy is amazed at his performance. He wants to be part of the music, and he realizes he's having a good time with Curt.
