Summary
In Chapter 16, Cath and Levi wake up when Reagan slams the door. Levi runs out, claiming to be late to work. Tears come to Cath’s eyes as she apologizes but learns that Levi was not Reagan’s boyfriend. Reagan is angry because she didn’t expect to find him with Cath and is hurt because he’d always liked her best.
After getting over her initial shock, Reagan encourages Cath to explore her feelings for Levi. The next time Cath hears from Levi, he is inviting her to a party. She doesn’t want to go and uses the excuse to Reagan that she has a class early the following morning. Later, Cath feels bad about not having sent a text back to Levi about the party. She wonders what might have happened had they awakened alone instead of having Reagan wake...
