Summary

In Chapter 35, The souls begin to feel and experiment with more physical sensations, including feeling cold, warmth, and having sex with each other. Egdod befriends a soul called Warm Wings and builds her a special room in the palace, and explains that he calls the grouping of souls who join him in the palace as the Pantheon. Ward and Egdod come across a soul named Swat who is angry about not being allowed to take honey and is trying to destroy a tower with an axe. Egdod strikes Swat dead with a thunderbolt.
