The Narrator

The novel never states the name of its narrator/protagonist. However, it is apparent that she is a woman in her mid-to-late twenties. She is American, and she lives and works in New York City. One of her main traits is that she is often addicted to online media. Her profession involves writing blog posts and online articles for a large media company. She is grateful for the stability of the job, but she aspires to be a writer who produces work that is more meaningful to her personally.
