Chapters 21-25 Summary
Myron meets Rolly Dimonte at Greg's house and the basement is clean. Myron sees the coroner with files under his arm and asks if they are the autopsy reports. Dimonte hedges, but Myron tells him he already knows about Liz Gorman. Dimonte wants to know how, but Myron does not tell him, instead asking about her blood type. The coroner tells him it was AB positive. Myron tells Dimonte that the blood in the basement had been tested and it was also AB positive. As it is a rare blood type, they can be fairly certain that the blood in the basement was Liz Gorman's. While the two are discussing it, an investigator shouts that he has found something. Behind the washing machine, there is a baseball bat covered in blood. The men have apparently found the murder weapon.
