Chapters 11-15 Summary
Myron makes his way the Parkview Diner, the location of the payphone where Carla had called Greg. Inside he takes a seat at the counter next to a homeless man to wait for Hector the owner. Myron asks Hector if he has a pay phone and Hector states that there is one in the kitchen for employees only. Myron spins a tale that he is an agent for the telephone company and that illegal activity has taken place involving the use of said pay phone. Hector is eager to cooperate. Checking with his wife, it is quickly determined that the phone was being used by their employee, Sally Guerro. Myron asks for a description of Sally and is told that she was average height, with brown hair. After some delicate prodding, Hector and his wife state that Sally was very large...
