Kendra

Kendra is Seth's older sister. She tends to obey the rules and seems more likely to act responsibly, especially once she realizes the serious nature of the Preserve where her grandparents live. Kendra tries to make Seth follow the rules as well, but she is also compassionate. This is apparent from her reaction when Seth opens a window and allows the magical creatures into the house. She makes certain Seth knows that he made a serious mistake, but she also assures him that she wanted to do exactly the same thing.

Kendra struggles when her parents decide to leave her at her grandparents' home. She is resentful and does not want to stay.
