Chapter 102 Summary

Dennis waits in the cold and dark for Peter to throw a note to him. Finally he sees Peter throw the note, but Dennis cannot find it in the snow. Dennis hears his father's voice in his ear telling him to slow down. Finally Dennis finds the note stuck in a locket. Dennis goes back to the storeroom before he reads the note. Peter tells him he has a plan of escape, but he is afraid he will fall to his death when he attempts it. Peter promises to put off his attempt to the next night and he would appreciate it if Dennis could help.
