Chapter 75 Summary

Peter need not have worried about discovery, however, because shortly after Valera went to the Needle, a crazy king named Alan took over and brought darkness on Delain. However, he did not rule long, and his daughter Kyla, came to the crown with the intention of improving the lot of the people. Kyla had hundreds of people make napkins in order to give them work. These napkins were stored in a storeroom and largely forgotten until Dennis began to prepare them for Peter. When Peter finished using one, they were thrown away; therefore, no one ever noticed the missing threads.
