Part 3, Leaving Home: Chapters 42-47 Summary
In Make Like a Monkey, as they continue through the jungle, Aya begins to worry whether she got her kick wrong and what would happen when the truth got out.
In The Pile, when they arrive at the tallest tower in the ruins, they find they must make their way across a pile of cut down metal. As they do, Frizz and Aya are almost crushed by falling beams. Tally rescues them and takes them deeper into the tower, where they discover not only their friends, but David has arrived.
In The Usual Place, David explains to Aya and Frizz how he came to be following them and how he knew where to find them after he saw them jump from the hovercar. Aya questions David's ugly façade and is immediately silenced by Tally...
