Part 2, City Killers: Chapters 28-34 Summary

In Pinned, Aya drags Ren, Hiro, and Frizz out of the party and tells them about Tally's ping. Hiro thinks it would be better to stay at the party where they are surrounded by hundreds of people. As Aya tries to protest, dozens of hovercams settle over them. As they continue to debate their next move, hovercams begin dropping out of the sky.

In Run and Hide, Hiro calls for hoverboards as a hovercar begins to descend on them. They only get three boards, so Frizz rides with Aya. Ren has to jam a signal from the hovercar to keep it from disabling the hoverboards like it did the hovercams. Due to Frizz's added weight, Aya struggles to keep up with Ren and Hiro. Strange shaped people come out of the hovercar in hoverball equipment...
