Summary
Chapter 24 – In her next session with Dr. Hutt, Hermione tells him about the experience at the dance. She goes along with him when he suggests she listen to the song again. She is not prepared, however, for the intensity of her reaction when he opens a bottle of pine scented cleaner, the smell of pine being one of the few things she recalls about the circumstances in which she was raped. For a while she is angry with him, but then realizes that with his help, she is drawing closer to her memories. She also tells him about her feeling safe with Dion, and Hutt tells her it is okay for her to be thinking about relationships again. He also suggests that it is likely she misses being touched and held.
