Summary
In Chapter 7, over the following months, both digients and owners grow stressed. One day, Jax confronts Ana about the Neuroblast port. He is concerned because scientists have been testing uploading the brains of organic mice into virtual mice—horribly painfully. Ana reassures Jax the cases are different. Jax offers to help raise money for the port by getting a job or a loan.
The user group has been looking into corporate investment. Companies want to replicate Bryce Talbot’s success creating digients suitable as personal assistants.
