Chapters 26-30 Summary
Rapp tells Moro that he wants Abu Sayyef crushed, and if he has to pay someone to do it, he is willing to do so. Rapp says they know about his bank accounts in Hong Kong and Jakarta and that he has been paid by the Chinese and Abu Sayyef. Rap shows Moro the file they have on him. Moro then wants to know who in the Philippines knows and wants to know if Barboza, the man that Rizal sent along, knows. Rapp says no. The conversation changes to how much money Rapp will pay for the return of the American hostages. As they talk, Rapp decides the murder will have to look like a suicide as Moro tries to push the amount higher. Rapp finally agrees to three hundred thousand dollars. As he is reaching for his gun, he freezes...
