Day 1 Summary
Henry Conklin, an experienced archeologist, is at Johns Hopkins University with a mummy that he has retrieved from the Peruvian Andes. Henry meets with a an old friend and colleague, Dr. Joan Engel, who was the head of forensic pathology. Joan is able to determine that the mummy was thirty-two when he died and that his throat was cut. Upon examining the mummy, they find a Dominican cross and a ring on the mummy and realize that he was a Spanish priest. The mummy is put into the CT scanner and almost immediately a yellow substance sprays all over the room as the head explodes. The substance is in liquid form, but Henry recognizes it as gold.
