The Motel 6 is a setting in the story “All That You Love Will Be Carried Away.” Alfie rents a room in this motel intending to kill himself. Instead, he finds himself considering quitting his job as a salesman and writing a book about the bathroom quotes he has collected over the years.

The Kart Korral

The Kart Korral is a setting in “Everything’s Eventual.” It represents the place where Skipper bullied Dinky the worst. Dinky remembers Skipper slamming his hand in the Kart Korral. It was because of this injury that Dinky writes the letter that kills Skipper. Dinky suspects that Sharpton knows about his ability to kill people when Sharpton asks Dinky to meet him at the Kart Korral.
