Summary

In the story “The Man in the Black Suit,” Gary, an old man, narrates an experience he had with evil when he was nine. He writes he is still terrified of what happened to him that day.

Gary had already caught two fishing during a Saturday fishing trip. So, he napped after he put his line in the water again. He woke to discover a bee on his nose. It terrified him because his brother had died just a year prior because of a bee sting.

Gary heard a hand clap behind him. The bee fell dead off his nose. When Gary turned, there was a figure wearing a three-piece suit. Gary knew he was the Devil and not a normal man because his eyes were the orangey-red color of flames. As the man walked closer, Gary could smell...
