Summary
In the tenth paragraph, Mitch looks at a different window, which is over the sink of the kitchenette. The window has been washed by the hard rain that came down during the night, and the sun is now shining in the early morning. Mitch notes that there is, in fact, greenery visible from the window. “The trees are green and some grass out past the speed bumps is green and slicked down” (230). However, he then notes that, contrary to what Mayfly has just said, not everything is green. Mitch noes in narration that “the other trailers are not green” (230). He notices a card table of his is outside. The table is not green.
