Summary
Katharina and Simon meet with Einhorn. Einhorn asks about the encounter with the group of girls and says he is obligated to look into complaints like this. Katharina argues that if the slander trial was resolved, the witchcraft charge would become a moot point. Einhorn asks if Katharina should be identified as a widow, or an abandoned woman.
