Ally 4 Summary

The chapter opens with Ally and her family preparing for the Eclipse travelers to arrive. Kenny, Ally and Ryan are left around the campground. Ally tries to convince Ryan how cool it will be to see some astronomical phenomena but Ryan seems, much to Ally's surprise, more interested in going to a talent show with his friends. Then Ryan and Ally go to the Alien Central Unusual to watch a computer search for communication from intelligent life. There Ryan explains that friends are not usually made through choice but by common experience. He says that he and Ally are friends for the same reason, though Ally hoped they would be friends because they actually liked each other. Ryan says that this comes after becoming friends.

Soon after, some RVs start to arrive and Ally and Ryan get busy helping them settle in. When...
