On Day 5998, A wakes up as a drug addict. A refuses to give into any of the body’s addictions, but it’s all that he can do. He spends the entire day locked in the room that he woke up in, hungry and going through major withdrawals. He refuses to come out at all for fear of giving in to the body’s wishes.

On Day 5999, A’s mind is completely exhausted from the rough previous day but the body A awakens in the next day is well and rested. It is the body of Nathan Daldry, a kid who gets up early on the weekends, does all his homework, and follows all the rules.
