Chapters 18 and 19 Summary

In chapter nineteen, the battle begins with Balthazar firing flaming arrows into the building, setting the church on fire. The old wood is soon engulfed in flames. Bianca finds Lucas and realizes he'll do anything he has to in order to protect her. She knows he won't stop trying until he's dead and with that knowledge, she knows what she has to do. Lucas realizes what's she's planning and says there has to be another way, but she knows there isn't. She tells Lucas she loves him, and runs to Adrian and Celia. She then convinces her parents to let Lucas and the others leave the building. They move away from the back door though Mrs. Bethany is angry, and soon hear Lucas and the others running away. Mrs. Bethany begins to question Bianca. She says Lucas made her leave Riverton...
