Summary

Chapter 12 is titled “A Child at Any Age,” and it covers the winter of 1998 through 2003. Regina arrived at Julia's house and immediately remembered being there as a child. She and her sisters had called this the Happy House. Julia recounted how she became acquainted with Regina. Julia married a man who had three children and they had three more. They needed extra income and Julia offered babysitting in her home. Paul and Julia's husband, Frank, were brothers.
