Colors

Colors symbolize tribal affiliations. For example, NightWings are dark shades of blues and greens that tend to look black except in direct sunlight. When Peril is looking at the town of Possibility from a distance, she notes that she cannot tell what color each dragon is, which is a symbol of the fact that all tribes live together in Possibility.

Qibli's Scar

Qibli's scar is a symbol of Qibli's past and his core identity. When Turtle offers to use an animus-touched rock to heal the scar, Qibli refuses, believing the scar is his an integral part of who he is.

The Healing Rock

The healing rock is a symbol of Turtle's power and is the first time any of the others know he is an animus dragon.
