"The Good Lion" Summary
While all the lions eat people, one lion is different. He only eats pasta and he has wings. When the other lions threaten to kill him for his strange habits, he flies away and returns to his home in Venice. In Venice, he finds that his habits have been changed because of his travels to Africa.
"The Good Lion" Analysis
One of the few children's stories that Hemingway wrote, this story compares the real lions of Africa with the many statues and images of lions in Venice.
