Section 12: Chapter 17 Summary

Fighting to regain consciousness as Part 4: Friend begins, Enna finds herself in her old room in the Bayern palace, being tended by the physician. Isi is the only one in the room when Enna fully wakes, and she explains how she felt Enna on the wind and cooled her during the battle. Isi praises Enna for resisting Sileph so well but warns that her friend is still dying from the fire burning inside her. The next time Enna wakes, Isi tells Geric that she and Enna are returning to the Forest because she believes she has found a way to heal Enna. After dismissing their escort at Enna's home, Isi confesses she has done some research on the fire-worshippers in Yasid, the kingdom to the south, and they are going there to seek help.
