Section 5: Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 Summary

In Chapter 7, Enna searches for Finn to ask for advice, but while he is sparring, she talks to Razo. Razo asks why Enna was never with Finn and tells her that Finn is now dating Hesel, a town girl. Since she cannot ask Razo for advice, Enna attends a war counsel with Tira where Tiran Captain Sileph questions Geric about sending a fire witch to attack Tiran camps, looking directly at Enna as he talks. Enna explains that she and Isi only pretended to conjure fire during the battle. After the Tirans leave, Enna suggests that an augury be held, and Talone, the captain of the Bayern army, agrees. Enna is upset when she realizes that the augury requires someone to die. In Chapter 8, Enna is distraught when Finn volunteers to fight for Bayern in the augury...
