Section 2: Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 Summary
In Chapter 2, Enna decides to go to the city for market day the next day. When Leifer returns, he promises never to burn her again, but he tells her he cannot get rid of the fire, insisting that he is learning how to control it. He refuses to teach Enna the fire. Upon reaching the city with Doda and Finn, Doda questions Enna about her relationship with Finn, and after claiming she needs a real man to handle her, Enna worries she has hurt Finn's feelings when she sees him nearby. The next day after Enna sets up her eggs to sell, she notices Razo and plays a prank on him by claiming she has an orange egg, the omen of good fortune and long life.
