Summary
In Chapter 11: The Guide, Byx wakes up draped over a horse, bound by her hands and feet. She realizes she is being led by the poacher’s guide and all of her memories return. The guide says they need to remove the arrowhead from Byx’s side as the poison has worn off. As he lifts her off, she suddenly remembers the death of her family and wants to hurt the boy for it. He warns her it will hurt to remove it, and she realizes that the boy’s voice is mixed between a gruff one and a soft one.
