Gypsy’s Acre aka The Towers

Gypsy’s Acre, originally called The Towers, is the plot of land that Ellie bought so that she and Mike could build a house there. It was believed by the people of the village near the plot that the gypsies had put a curse on that particular plot because they had once lived there but had been run off the property.

Bartington Manor

Bartington Manor is the place to which Mike had gone with Phillpot to attend an auction and buy a special gift for Ellie. It is where he was when Ellie died.

New York

New York is the town in America to which Mike traveled to attend Ellie’s funeral.

San Francisco

While Mike was in America for Ellie’s funeral he went to San Francisco where Santonix was in the hospital. Santonix died during Mike’s visit.
