Summary
Chapter 6 begins with the narrator and Zuhal speaking outside of the gold-domed train station in town. The narrator wishes she were in love with him rather than the man from the restaurant, and she says that she likes him and loves the other man simultaneously. She wants to know what he is like when he makes love, but she is leaving town that evening.
The narrator asks why people are so afraid of the man, and she reveals that people think he has had people killed. He then reflects on how he loves moments like his current one between men and women. They come to an implicit understanding that they will have a relationship in the future, and she reveals that she is scared of the man from the restaurant and wishes she could stop loving him.
