Part 2, Topside: Chapters 20-26 Summary

Chapter 20. Library. Stalker has found Deuce, Fade, and Tegan. He comes into the library with several more members of his gang as well as Pearl. Deuce and Fade cannot just give up, so a fight ensues. As the fight begins, Deuce and Fade immediately have an advantage. However, Stalker and his friends are good fighters as well. Then they are inundated with Freaks. The two sides must band together to fight this new foe. In the end, only Deuce, Fade, Tegan, and Stalker survive. Pearl is attacked by a Freak while the other gang members are either killed in the fight or by the Freaks. Stalker requests to join their group and they agree.
