Letters

Letters are written and drawn by Emma for Jack, and by Jack for Emma. They are delivered mainly through the mail. Whereas Peter allows Emma to write and mail Jack, and allows Jack to write and mail Emma, Megan attempts -at first- to cut off all correspondence between them, but ultimately consents.

Donuts

Donuts are baked and served at the local donut shop, frequented by Jack, Doug, Kenny, and Peter and Emma. When Jack, Peter, and Emma meet, they eat donuts. Peter comes to realize that Jack is a good man over donuts.

Journals
