Chapter 18, My Return Summary and Analysis

Ms. Eadie found herself back in her hospital room. The sight of her body on the bed upset her, because it seemed like a dirty old coat she would have to put back on after a shower. Ms. Eadie sank into a depression the moment her spirit returned to her body, depressed by its weight. Her three monks returned to help her adjust, giving her a sense of peace. Ms. Eadie fell asleep only to wake soon after, still depressed. Ms. Eadie began to fall asleep again when she saw movement at her door.
