Chapter 15, Prayer Summary and Analysis
Ms. Eadie was shown the Earth again, and she could see lights shooting up from it, some small, some large. Ms. Eadie was told these were prayers making their way to the spirit world. The brighter prayers were filled with faith and intensity, while the less bright prayers were insincere or repetitious. All prayers were heard and answered, Ms. Eadie was told, just not always in the manner the recipient might want. Prayers for others have a great strength but cannot always be answered since they might go against that person's freewill or God's will.
