Chapter 6, Embraced by the Light Summary and Analysis

A light appeared at the end of the tunnel, and Ms. Eadie felt herself moving faster toward the light. In the light, Ms. Eadie could see a man inside it, the light growing brighter and brighter as she approached. The light around the man seemed to be some sort of halo and as Ms. Eadie came closer she realized there was light around her as well, a light that seemed to melt into his. When the lights merged, Ms. Eadie could feel an overwhelming love coming from this man. Soon, Ms. Eadie realized the man was Jesus Christ. Ms. Eadie hugged him, so happy to be in his presence and to be accepted with all her sins and faults in view.
