Summary

In Chapter 26, Ellie woke up with Gregory in her bed. Lenore was delighted that her son had reached out to his father. Ronnie called Ellie and told her that her new fiancé, Al, had gone out to the Cursed Man Club to find out why vampires were hanging around Dr. Allerton’s mansion. He had disappeared after, but Ronnie and her future bridesmaids and teammates from her college basketball team had spoken to the manager of the club who had told them that vampires often went to the mansion and never returned. Ronnie and her friends wanted to search for Al in the mansion during Dr. Allerton’s big bicentennial ball party. Ellie changed into a good-luck t-shirt and told her mom they had to pick up Ronnie, her bridesmaids, and Jay at the Ring Station.
