Summary

In "Ark of Bones": "Ark of Bones," Headeye followed Fish-hound downriver. They were supposed to be fishing, but Fish-hound did not want Headeye with him because he had a mojo bone (9). He often acted "crazy" when he had an idea "in that big head of his" (9). Fish-hound worried he would steal his good luck.

Headeye said he was not fishing for fish and pulled out the bone. Headeye swore the bone belonged "to the people of God" (11). Then he recounted the story of Ezekiel from the Bible. Fish-hound got scared.

Eventually they reached Deadman's Landing. Headeye said Noah’s Ark was coming. Fish-hound kept an eye on Headeye while pretending to fish. He knew something strange was happening. Then it started storming and a boat appeared. A man was on the boat, but he did not look...
