Section 5: Chapter 7 & 8 Summary

In Chapter 7, Lucas misses a pop quiz when he is late to class on Friday, but Jacqueline aces the quiz because Landon insisted on her completing his current worksheet. Erin reminds Jacqueline that she will be away this weekend, encouraging her to go out with Lucas if he tries to make plans. At Starbucks, Jacqueline is uncomfortable to notice that Dr. Heller is one of the few customers as she does not want him to see her flirting with the guy who skipped the quiz.
