Climate Change

Ellmann uses the lioness to convey observations about the deterioration of the planet. Throughout her excerpts, the lioness repeatedly expresses her disdain for humans and the ease with which they destroy nature. She frequently comments on the noisy, smelly vehicles in which humans traverse the earth, expressing frustration at their ability to gouge the ground and drown out the sound of her crying kittens.
