Summary
The final section is "A New Normal." It opens with a Snapshot of Disneyland, 8:57 A.M., Saturday, June 25th. The park is preparing to reopen two weeks after the Tap-Out, though with some modifications. There are lots of new employees, including a young man who is working the turnstiles and who understands that people would flock here because it is a place of magic, hope, and dreams. More than 200,000 people died, and some are surprised the number was not higher.
The section is from Alyssa's perspective. She sponges off, even though her home has water today. She cannot bring herself to waste the amount of water it would take to shower.
