Summary
Chapter 19 is “Rowan.” Rowan and her father run together the next day. Rowan tells Tim about her job and he compliments her on making a bad situation work out. Rowan wants to apologize to Arvin for ignoring him, but he does not show up at the clinic. That afternoon, Rowan begins shadowing Dr. Marguerite Woods on some of her appointments. Rowan notes that Dr. Woods gives every patient her full attention and makes each feel better. At the end of the day, Rowan feels she can do some good things and feels good about it. At home that evening, Geneva tells Rowan what she knows. She found a tooth that did not belong to the victim. The victim is male and had broken his wrist at a young age.
