Tanis

Tanis is half-elf and half-human, which gives him elfin features he tries to hide behind a human beard. This allows him to move around in human cities easily. His elfin blood makes him very thin and agile, which is ideal for the battles he finds himself in. He is the leader of the group of friends that met at the beginning of the book series and has traveled with each other throughout the series. The group's goal is to stop the Dark Queen and her armies from taking over their world. The group of friends consists of Raistlin, Caramon, Riverwind, Goldmoon, Tika, Tas and Flint. These friends trust and respect Tanis above all others and continually follow him to their potential deaths.

Tanis does not want the responsibility of being a leader and having the friends' lives in his hands. He continually tells them to look elsewhere for...
