Part 6, Chapter 41 Summary

Claire runs into the seer in the study and they talk for a while. Maisri tells Claire that her gift is more like a curse. She's not sure if she should tell the old man that she sees how he will die. She knows where it will happen and when. She tells him initially that she sees nothing, but he knows she is lying and slaps her for it. She asks Jamie if she should tell him the truth or not. Jamie is not sure.

During dinner, Jamie, the old man, and young Simon talk of the battle. The old man (big Simon/Lord Lovat) wants to wait, but young Simon thinks this is a foolish decision. Claire enters the room and notices that the old man doesn't look so good. She asks him what his symptoms are. He angrily says...
